The Probe Ship is a small scout vessel assigned to the USS Cygnus.

Background

The ship was used by the Humanoids to explore the even horizon of the black hole and report back to the mother ship.

Like the Cygnus, the Probe Ship is equipped with anti-gravity forces to keep it safe from being pulled into the black hole or being crushed by the force inside.

When the Cygnus was on the verge of destruction, Dan Holland, Charlie Pizer, Kate McCrae and V.I.N.CENT made a run for the probe ship after the Palomino was destroyed when Harry Booth tried to get away. They took off in hope to escape only to realize it had been programmed to go right into the black hole. All the Palomino crew could do was pray that Reinhardt's beliefs were right. The Probe Ship emerged from a white hole and into another universe heading towards a planet.
